Mattress Topper Setup Tips & Guide | Sleepyhead

Posted by Savannah Branch on

Need help figuring out the best way to set up your bed with your new Sleepyhead mattress topper? Follow our recommended steps for a smooth and effective set up process.

Step 1: Prepare Your Bed

Remove any existing bedding and make sure your mattress is clean and free of debris. The Sleepyhead mattress topper should be placed on a clean, dry surface.

Optional: If you have purchased a mattress protector place it over the dorm mattress.

Optional: If you purchased a mattress pad, place it on top of the mattress.

Step 2: Unpack Your Topper

Remove the Sleepyhead mattress topper from its packaging and lay it out on a flat surface to let it fill out. We recommend letting it expand and air out for a couple of hours before use.

Step 3: Place the Topper on Your Mattress

Lift the topper and place it on top of your mattress, making sure it's centered and straight, with the gripper side facing down on the mattress.

Step 4: Add Your Bed Sheets and Pillows

Now that your bed is set up with the Sleepyhead mattress topper, it's time to add your bed sheets and pillows. Place the well-fitted sheet over the mattress and mattress topper, holding everything together. Finally, add the flat sheet, comforter, and pillows to your new bed!

Step 5: Enjoy Your Better Sleep

It's time to get a good night's sleep! Lie down on your bed and enjoy the extra comfort and support provided by the Sleepyhead mattress topper.

That's it! With these simple steps, you can easily set up your bed with the Sleepyhead mattress topper and enjoy a better night's sleep. Happy sleeping!
